About Our Client
Our client is one of leading consumer services company based in the downtown Chicago area. As part of their growth strategy, they have implemented a strategic vendor management group to focus on a higher level of supplier engagement, supplier relationship building and ultimately enhanced supplier performance.
The Senior Analyst, IT Vendor Management will be responsible for engaging with the multiple vendors within the IT group, with a particular focus on vendor performance, engagement, compliance across all categories within IT (Software, Hardware, Telecom/Network, Services). Unique to the company, the Senior Analyst will be involved in early contractual negotiations and meetings, adding input on key deliverables, risk compliance and critical service level agreements. The Senior Analyst, IT Vendor Management will also engage with managers and senior leaders of the company on existing and new projects, offering solutions and input.
The Successful Applicant
The Senior Analyst, IT Vendor Management will have 3 to 5 years within IT Vendor Management and Analysis, with a core focus on vendor management and partnership within the IT / Technology teams. They will have a strong background in managing IT vendor service agreements (SLA's, KPI's etc.) across either software, hardware, IT Services or Telecom/Network categories and with major suppliers in the industry. The Senior Analyst, IT Vendor Management will also have exposure within risk mitigation, compliance and an equal level of experience in supplier relationship building inside a medium to large size organizations. They will be proactive in approaching their team and internal stake holders on solutions to existing problems, with a detailed focus on how the IT Vendor Management can add better value to the business.
