Our client is a well known organization, operating as a major player in the consumer products sector with global headquarters in Massachusetts and operations across the US.

Job Description

  • Serve as financial resource on cross functional teams which will require modeling and analyzing alternative scenarios and developing recommendations for the business, including cost estimations, ROI, and other key metrics.
  • Lead monthly close, bi-monthly forecast, and annual plan process for supported businesses and associated analytics including sensitivity analysis, what if scenarios, etc.
  • Ensure accurate and timely production of internal management reporting and analyses
  • Identify opportunities to improve current processes to eliminate 'data entry' and focus on the analytics transforming data into information.
  • Partner with the business in managing expenses and providing budget owners visibility to cost trends.
  • Develop senior management summaries of key insights developed as part of preparation and analysis of monthly close reporting packages.
  • Provide ad hoc support and/or participate in special projects

The Successful Applicant

The Senior Financial Analyst will have the ability to understand the business impact of data and articulate key drivers. In addition, you will possess:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player willing to participate in and/or lead a variety of projects
  • Able to independently balance multiple competing priorities and deadlines
  • Proven ability to work cross functionally and build relationships
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills with prior experience working effectively in a demanding, fast changing environment.
  • Ability to assess/re-engineer existing processes and drive process improvements.



QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of bachelor's degree to enter the program, MBA sponsorship offered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis. Accounting experience preferred.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
  • Experience with database applications is a plus (Oracle, Hyperion)
