Job Description

  • eSupport the financial management of the organization, including:
      • Support the twice-monthly re-forecast process for several Production department's
      • Partner with Manager to support the twice-monthly re-forecast process for Global Commission Income through partnering with Global Sourcing Offices; provide Sr. Management with formal updates, including variance analyses.
      • Manage the monthly Global capital forecast process
      • Participation in monthly close process
  • Participate in the development of the annual global commission income, departmental operating expense and capital budgets through partnership with Production Leads and Regional Sourcing and Finance offices. Support the budget transfer process through ongoing communications to ensure alignment.
  • Support the development of quarterly Global Gross Margin / CPU analyses; partner with Production Operations to continually refine analyses to provide global visibility into upcoming seasonal margins and trends.
  • Support the vendor financial audit process, taking into account vendor risk - operational risk, financial risk, etc.
  • Collects and analyzes data in support of operating and strategic initiatives, including industry and benchmark data; prepares trend and variance analyses.
  • Performs adhoc analyses, prepares reports and presentations and makes recommendations to business and finance partners

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting and/or Finance
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, including P&L and capital budget management
  • Knowledge and familiarity with procurement and/or retail distribution/wholesale operations and terminology is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience with GAAP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with SAP and Hyperion (Planning/Essbase) a plus
  • Strong organizationand interpersonal skills are required
  • Team player with a strong work ethic
