Job Description

Responsibilities for the Senior Financial Reporting Analyst:

  • Preparing, reviewing and analyzing financial statements with referenced work papers
  • Preparing financial statement footnotes and supporting schedules
  • Researching and documenting GAAP accounting policies including writing memos to support accounting treatment for unique transactions
  • Preparing analysis of account balances and variance explanations
  • Assisting in preparation of compliance reporting
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications for Senior Financial Reporting Analyst:

  • Prior experience within Financial Reporting in Financial Services
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA required
  • Ability to resolve and analyze accounting issues in-depth according to GAAP
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong overall PC proficiency
  • Experience with JD Edwards E1 general ledger and Reports Now systems a strong plus
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
  • Manage multiple tasks, projects and ability to prioritize
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple locations with all levels of employees to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results
