About Our Client

My client is looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Associate to add to the Accounting team.

Job Description

  • Assist in preparing required SEC quarterly and annual reports
  • Compile financial information related to the Company's earnings releases and Form 8-K's
  • Preparation of reporting for senior management and board of directors
  • Preparation and review of XBRL filings
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reporting required by FINRA and the FCA as necessary for the Company's broker-dealer and UK subsidiaries, respectively
  • Act as liaison to independent auditors to support audit and review procedures
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of revenue recognition accounting
  • Prepare and review Investment Company accounting for certain consolidated entities

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting
  • CPA qualification
  • 3-6 years of experience in senior staff level role at a Big Four or Second Tier Firm
  • Investment management and/or financial services experience a plus
  • Be keen to step into the private sector into a pivotal and varied position
  • Experience supporting a team and being a team player
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
