Senior Global Product Manager - Medical Device

About Our Client
The company has a rich 80 year history and is focused on developing and manufacturing new, innovative and reliable products for a variety of ophthalmic and specialty microsurgical procedures
* Develops annual and long-term objectives for direct reports with VP interaction. Measures performance of direct reports against success criteria and provides feedback. Attracts/hires and develops top marketing talent. - Develops/executes 1-3 year integrated franchise marketing plans and budgets, with oversight, annually. Resolves issues within the core team and franchise. - Develops insights regarding market, competitive and clinical trends leveraging field experience, KOL relationships, and secondary research. - Collaborates closely with regional marketing counterparts to plan and execute product, evidence and program strategies (e.g., through Franchise Teams). - Manages execution of specific channel plans in ways consistent with product strategies. - With support from supply chain and finance, creates US forecast for products that fall under the Core Stone franchise. - Identifies new business / acquisition opportunities for franchise and supports related diligence activities. - Directs/supports product managers in core team activities/responsibilities and oversees completion of PDM requirements. - Works within current systems to achieve business objectives (e.g., product development, launch strategies, etc). - Works with managers in key functional areas, including R[amp;]D, sales, reimbursement, new product forecasting C[amp;]P, clinical, and regulatory to drive business objectives. - Raises and facilitates resolution to difficult personal and process conflicts or issues within the team. Builds cross-franchise team competence. - Demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality. Understands and complies with all regulations governing the quality systems.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred. 7+ years' experience in upstream marketing. Experience in opthalmology required.
