Our client is a large Non-profit experience here in Manhattan.

Job Description

The Senior Grants Associate - Institutional Giving is a member of the Unit and will serve as the liaison with the Director, Budget Director, Program Managers, Accounting Unit, Evaluator, Contracts & Compliance Manager as well as other PAL staff for the development of grants. Primary responsibilities include the research and evaluation of foundation and governmental grant funding prospects/opportunities that align with PAL mission, vision and goals, and responding to opportunities through the preparation of well-written and researched proposals and grant applications.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree with a minimum three years of grant writing and development experience. Demonstrated success at obtaining government and foundation grants in the fields of early childhood, after school, juvenile justice and/or sports/recreation is preferred. Knowledge and experience with NYC DYCD, DOP, ACS and CJC grants, and NYS DOE, OCFS and DCJS grants a plus. Demonstrated ability to secure foundation meetings and write winning proposals a must.
