Senior Quality Engineer - Industrial located in the Rochester NH area is with a global industrial manufacturer. Job Description


  • Develop manufacturing requirements, quality standards, and product quality plans to assure products meet customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Support development of FMEAs (Design & Process) to identify and address risks, as well as ongoing updates to incorporate product failures and lessons learned.
  • Participate in design reviews to assure product subsystem quality, manufacturability, and inspectability.
  • Act as the voice of the customer in the APQP process.
  • Coordinate PPAP submission package and act as customer contact for the PPAP process.
  • Manage and facilitate root cause and corrective action (8D) system.
  • Track product quality performance and drive product quality improvement efforts.
  • Support the company QMS and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

The requirements for this position include:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required. Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of quality engineering fulltime experience in a manufacturing environment required with a working knowledge of the ISO systems.
  • Specific training and demonstrated success in applying design for quality, 8D problem solving, FMEA, control plans, SPC, DoE, statistical methods, etc.
  • Demonstrated history of APQP and PPAP implementation strongly preferred.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skills.
