Job Description:

  • Develops and manages a large candidate pool through a variety of creative sourcing techniques including: competitive information; social media; cold-calling; advertising; database and organizational affiliations.
  • Work as a key member in supporting the company's Diversity Initiatives with a focus on networking and talent acquisition. This position will also assist with other talent acquisition initiatives.
  • Targets the most efficient and effective recruiting methods based on the job location, profile and qualifications required of the positions.
  • Develops knowledge of the marketplace to ensure competitiveness in hiring.
  • Partners with internal HR groups and hiring managers to ensure quality hires and competitive and equitable offers and actively communicates and updates the business groups as appropriate.
  • Actively updates and maintains accurate information within the company's Applicant Tracking System and keeps candidates informed of their status.
  • Ensures compliance with employment laws, fair employment practices, and compliance with the company's Affirmative Action Plans and FCC EEO reporting.
  • Serves as point of contact for candidates and provides information relating to compensation, benefits, and the company.
  • Ensures applicants complete all necessary steps prior to hiring such as having appropriate application and background check documentation, and conducts reference checks.
  • Responds to inquiries from employees, applicants and employers pertaining to talent acquisition and career opportunities.
  • Assists with recruiting operations, stepping in as needed to support background checks, requisition routing and temporary/contingent workforce monitoring.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of full cycle recruiting experience or an equivalent combination of corporate recruiting / staffing agency experience. Minimum of 5+ years of equivalent experience required to be considered for a Senior Recruiter.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of federal/state laws regarding employment and the ability to counsel hiring managers on the hiring process and laws associated with hiring.
  • Experience in fostering relationships with Diversity and niche organizations to attract diverse talent is a plus.
