About Our Client

Our client is on the the largest and fastest growing National General Contractors in the country with project portfolio in retail, office, mixed use, hotels, multifamily, health care, and distribution. They are actively looking for a Senior Vice President of Hospitality to be based out of their Chattanooga office and drive the overall vision for the Hospitality division while partnering with the executive team to help with the company's growth strategy.

Job Description

The Senior Vice President - Hospitality Construction will provide day-to-day leadership and management of the Hospitality division while aligning the division with the company's overall strategic vision, culture, mission, and policies. The Senior Vice President - Hospitality Construction will perform duties to ensure the growth of the regional office under their leadership and is responsible for the overall budget, operations, and success of the region. Selected Responsibilities:

  • Direct office operations to meet budget and overall financial goals. Responsible for monthly cost report process and reporting
  • Assist in developing and implementing corporate and office strategic plans
  • Represent the company with clients, investors, and business partners. Work with sales department to ensure the retention of clients through relationship management
  • Oversee and direct all personnel within the company's hospitality division
  • Work with the COO on critical operational issues, policy and procedures that aligned with the overall strategic plan of the organization
  • Attract, recruit and retain required members for the Hospitality division

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience with a commercial general contractor in a senior position
  • Strong experience with Hospitality construction
  • Experience using ViewPoint, SharePoint, MS Office
  • Ability to generate respect and trust from staff and external constituencies
  • Ability to lead , plan and manage change
  • Solid working knowledge of budgeting, sales, business development, and strategic planning
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, public speaking, and presentation skills
  • Willing to travel as needed to support the region
