About Our Client

Our client is a privately-owned, industry leadeing company in Agoura Hills. The company is expanding rapidly, and has a large network that contributes to the continued growth.

Job Description

  • Develop baseline list for each sourcing category that procurement is responsible for
  • Develop pricing tables, accurate pricing analyses and summaries for each category
  • Conduct competitive analysis by researching vendors online
  • Provide competitive summaries to the director for each category by analyzing the sales history and market trends
  • Provide the director with a strategic recap after every analysis
  • Partner with the purchasing team to complete spend analysis to determine sourcing opportunities.
  • Identify cost-savings opportunities

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or related field
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of directly related experience required
  • Strong analytical skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office (MS Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Experience with financial systems such as Solomon, Doclink, SQL databases, Spend Analytics, data warehouse, dashboard
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
