Job Description

  • Assist with Workers Comp, Payroll, 401k and State audits. Verify and audit hours worked for associates for accuracy; contact appropriate supervisor regarding discrepancies and missing information
  • Be the liaison between ADP and state agencies regarding multiple tax registrations.
  • Maintain payroll information, files and records to provide an up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance
  • Research discrepancies of payroll data such as time sheets, leave time, direct deposit requirements, benefit eligibility to ensure accuracy and adherence to procedures prior to processing
  • Attend various seminars and workshops to gain and review labor law, government requirements, payroll regulations
  • Handle state, local and tax registrations with minimal supervision
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

The Successful Applicant

  • Must have 5+ years of related Payroll experience in a high-volume fast-paced team work environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Exposure to Federal, State and local employment laws a plus but not required
