The GC seeking WWTP Superintendents for projects across the Carolinas
About Our Client
Our client is a top General Contractor in the Southeast, with projects ranging from large commercial to heavy civil projects. The WWTP Division has seen a strong period of growth over the last year, and is looking to expand its on site team. Projects can range $1M - $35M, with both ground up projects and renovations being part of the company's portfolio.
The company is looking to hire well-qualified Superintendents who have the ability to run WWTP from day 1. Reporting into a PM directly for each project, the Superintendents responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supervises all on-site activities.
Coordinates with the other project team members including the Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, and Project Manager.
Delegates responsibilities to Foremen, Assistant Superintendent, and Project Engineer.
Promotes an environment where all safety procedures and practices are being followed.
Understands and oversees all aspects of the project including the project schedule and financial status.
Manages and tracks all field labor, tool costs, and equipment costs.
Ensures that all materials, subcontractors, and equipment are at the site at a time consistent with the project schedule.
Resolves disputes in a fair and timely manner.
Oversees the QA/QC procedures to ensure that a best in class product is being delivered.
Builds and maintains relationships with the owners, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Schedules and coordinates work with all subcontractors.
Determines the crew size based on budgets and makes the hiring decisions at the project level.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate must have 4+ years' experience as a Superintendent on WTP/WWTP projects. Relevant experience is a requirement.
