Job Description

This position is primarily responsible for providing technical accounting support to the firms senior management and business lines by interpreting new and existing accounting guidance as they relate to the accounting for new products, significant and/or non-routine transactions and other events. This position will also maintain and provide necessary updates to the Firms existing accounting policies as well as help monitor any emerging accounting developments and interpret their impact to the firm.

You will also be responable for reviewing various corporate accounting analyses for compliance with GAAP, review various valuation analyses for compliance with GAAP and maintain and update corporate accounting policy database.



The Successful Applicant

  • CPA required
  • BS/Graduate Degree in Finance, CFA preferred
  • Incumbent should have 5-8 years of business or financial experience, and at least 2 at a Big 4 CPA firm.
  • Exceptional research experience and capabilities
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, particularly in the area of compensation, corporate financing and acquisition transactions, taxes, and valuation.
  • The ability to work effectively across other functional groups using interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with financial services industry and/or international business preferred.
