Job Description

The SVP of Mutual Fund Financial Reporting team is responsible for overseeing all functions consisting of Financial Reporting, Expense Management and Financial Administration. The SVP is also responsible for ensuring departmental controls are being followed, staff development, client relationships, and project management.

This includes:

  • Ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of work products to all clients, responsible for resolving technical issues, board and client reporting, timely and accurate delivery of regulatory financial filings
  • Contributing to periodic industry communications to clients, Boards, and/or Audit Committees
  • Providing guidance to direct reports and the team on a regular basis
  • Overseeing timely completion of special projects and client requests
  • Establishing objectives, performance measures and writing evaluations for direct reports on a semi-annual basis
  • Supporting and implementing departmental and company initiatives
  • Participating in development and implementation of procedures to meet current and new regulatory requirements

The Successful Applicant

Requirements for the SVP Financial Reporting Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • CertiCPA is helpful, but not required.
  • 8-15 years industry-related experience, third party administration helpful, but not required
  • Familiarity with the Confluence Unity product is desirable, but not required
  • Prior managerial experience is preferred
