Job Description

The Vice President - Head of Performance Management responsibilities include:

Manage over the Performance management (PM) reporting team as part of the Institutional Client service team with the America Finance department. The PM team consists of 3-4 total members.

Prepare month end reports and analysis to distribute to GMA senior management including a full income statement by Business line that is reconciled/aligned with Central Cdg.

Analyze, reconcile, and review business activities with GMA by performing a variance analysis of corresponding expenses vs budgets, highlighting trends, and following up on questions and/or concerns.

Liaise with Business management, Middle Office, and desks as needed in coordinating, communicating and resolving PnL related issues.

Where required assist the Finance production teams during month end close to ensure accuracy of Legal entity LAP ledgers.

The Successful Applicant

At least 8 to 10 years of work experience in a Finance or Reporting team preferably within a global financial services company.

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and business concepts related to Banking business particularly within Equity or Fixed Income business areas.

Strong communication skills

Effective management, organizational, and management reporting skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various teams in a deadline-focused environment
