My client has designed, constructed, and deployed over 50,000 wireless sites.

Through a series of strategic acquisitions, the company has developed the capability not only to support the lifecycle chain of wireless and broadcast networks, but also to serve the heavy civil market through proprietary technologies that safely and cost-effectively evaluate the condition of aging critical infrastructure, such as bridges, dams, and transmission towers.

Job Description

  • Champion sales and marketing activities for Power Delivery projects, responsible for client development and coordination to reach company revenue and profit goals in this market
  • Work with company senior executives to ensure Power Delivery initiatives are implemented
  • Work with senior operational management to leverage company capacity in current consulting engineering services (e.g. engineering investigations, structural, geotechnical, site civil engineering, etc.) for best performance in Power Delivery Market
  • Recruit, train, develop, and retain an outstanding team
  • Organize and lead the annual performance appraisal process for the team
  • Provide appropriate training and development for entry level and experienced staff

Provide leadership and executive oversight to senior operational managers who schedule and monitor the daily workload of the Civil Infrastructure engineers and field teams, which involves the following:

  • Identify and set department and operational goals, set and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for group
  • Ensure quality and quantity of all engineering studies, reports and drawings - provide senior with appropriate report(s) on quantity and quality
  • Verify and ensure projects are on schedule and meeting client requirements
  • Utilize expertise in Power Delivery to drive growth and expansion of company business in this market
  • Assist in the management of the Civil Infrastructure EIS and Engineering division. Professional Registration is required or must be able to attain within one year

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering (structural or geotechnical), Electrical Engineering, or similar field from an ABET accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 15 years experience in engineering in the Power Delivery field; with an expertise in all phases of a project from inception to completion, while maintaining quality and quantity of all projects as well as the meeting completion dates with all projects
  • Considerable expertise in client development, interaction, and management
  • Previous management experience is required at the Director or executive (VP) level
