About Our Client

Our client is one of the top 100 GCs on ENR's newest list. They are rapidly growing across the US with corporate offices in Dallas, TX. They are actively looking for a Vice President of Sales - Construction to lead teh growth of top-line revenue and Gross Profit for my client's family of companies.

Job Description

The Vice President of Sales - Construction will influence the revenue and Gross Profit goals by designing, planning, implementing, and measuring the performance of all aspects of the sales process including potential and existing accounts. Selected Responsibilities:

  • Empower all stakeholders to achieve the corporation's mission, business objectives, and sales goals
  • Manage a team of sales professionals and coordinate sales efforts in conjunction with the business plans
  • Develop and communicate the sales strategy across the family of companies, the marketing and sales teams, and operations
  • Direct the creation of a database of potential and existing targets with Salesforce for each market sector pursuit
  • Guide new prospect sales strategies and manage existing relationships
  • Work with CFO to forecast sales and profits annually through Salesforce
  • Package existing services and programs and develop new services and programs that can be marketed and sold
  • Assist in 3-year backlog based on company strategies
  • Analyze market research to determine trends and industry needs as well as customer preferences
  • Work closely with the VP of Marketing to research new business ideas, market sector research and growth opportunities for the family of companies

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, marketing, or related studies. MBA strongly preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience as a Vice President of Sales
  • Successful work history in growing volume and profit margins
  • Must have experience with large national GC
  • Experience in selling to backlog
  • Multi-division sales experience
  • Construction knowledge and Salesforce experience needed
  • Big picture focus . Can manage multiple projects at one time without losing focus on long-term goals
