Job Description

VP - CCAR Analytics Detailed responsibilities will include (but not limited to) the following:

  • Manage ongoing measurement, forecasting, and reporting on key capital metrics
  • Conduct ongoing capital management by owning ICAAP production and documenting processes and methodologies
  • Assess and review capital adequacy of current and projected capital levels and composition
  • Compare calculated capital to regulatory minimum capital ratios and internal capital goals and targets
  • Coordinate calculation of liquidity ratios with ALM Treasury functional area
  • Ensure management overlay adjustments are appropriately reflected in capital ratios inputs (e.g. RWA, Leverage, Deductions from Regulatory Capital, etc.)
  • Understand the drivers of the capital ratios (e.g. RWA, Leverage, Liquidity, etc.)
  • Identify risks to achieving planned capital targets and integrate with defined IHC risk profile
  • Benchmark capital ratios to peers and provide comparative analytics

The Successful Applicant

VP - CCAR Analytics Required Experience

  • 6 - 10 years of financial services industry experience (capital markets knowledge preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of capital rules and requirements, including understanding drivers of capital ratios
  • Proven experience working in an analytical role, specifically in the capital space (e.g., calculation/analysis of capital ratios)
  • Working knowledge of current regulations and regulatory initiatives (i.e. Basel, CCAR) Administrative / Technical Skills
  • Demonstrable managerial or supervisory experience including project and production skills
  • Quantitative / analytical experience evaluating capital ratios and financial results
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adhere to strict project and production deadlines, showing strong planning and organization skills
