Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

Ensure that Accounting records are maintained accurately and in compliance with GAAP.

Provide management with financial plans and analysis including, but not limited to monthly financial analysis, profitability reports, weekly cash flow forecasts, and managing CU banking relationships.

Oversee timely and accurate month-end closing, financial reporting for management and Board of Directors and call report filing.

Conduct analysis for long-range planning and strategy.

Budget analysis and development of related management reports.

Participates in various committees that may require financial analysis or are charged with developing recommendations that have a significant impact on earnings.

Maintain a smoothly functioning department that meets and demonstrates compliance with standards set by all regulatory agencies.

The Successful Applicant

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Requirements

10 Years of progressive accounting and finance experience with at least 4 years of recent experience within a financial institution.

Master's in Business Administration; CPA a plus.

Minimum of 4 years of experience managing an accounting and finance team.

Proven knowledge of General Ledger; other financial systems a plus.
