Job Description

As the VP Procurement, you will be managing a spend level of around $500M and providing leadership to all corresponding departments. You will contribute to the development of the organization's overall supply and logistics strategy by establishing purchasing budgets, plans, policies, systems, and procedures that will achieve these strategic objectives.

You will also identify, evaluate, and capitalize on opportunities to reduce purchasing costs by improving the organization's buying patterns and supply channels. You will also evaluate, negotiate, and strategically manage important supplier and vendor relationships to secure terms that are in the organization's best interest.

  • Directs and oversees all functions of procurement for the company.
  • Develops long term vision and annual objectives for the procurement organization.
  • Identifies and implements best practices with functional areas of the procurement organization.
  • Conducts external bench marking within industry and outside industry on latest best practices and innovation with supply chain management.
  • Maintains senior stakeholder relationships with leadership team to ensure support of procurement initiatives and objectives.
  • Identifies and drives key cost reduction and efficiency initiatives for company.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have:

  • BA (MBA preferred) in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Business or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in management within Food/Bev
  • 5+ years of Director/VP level experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Tech savvy, ability to adapt to current trends and stay up to date
  • Leadership skills in overseeing entire procurement department.
