My client is a SEC - RIA with $2B in AUA which is a wholly owed of $6B AUM Wealth management Company. The firm specializes in providing comprehensive wealth and life management services to high-net worth individuals and their families, senior executives at public companies, entrepreneurs, and private business owners.

Job Description

The VP, Sr. Wealth Planning / Business Development responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Working independently to externally source prospective clients and referral sources in the MA, RI, and CT areas
  • Meeting with current and prospective clients to discuss and recommend the appropriate services and planning solutions
  • Creating and implementing business and marketing plans
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with various centers of influence

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for the position will have the following qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in a sales-oriented position in the financial services industry; Wealth Management Industry preferred
  • Working knowledge of financial planning, investment management, life insurance, annuities, estate and trust administration
  • Proven capacity to increase client base and grow AUM
  • Series 7 license is required or must be obtained after employment
