About Our Client

Our client is growing at an extreme pace in Austin, TX in a premier location within the city. They are building a multi-generational platform that is changing the merchandising space for some of the internet's most compelling communities.

Job Description

  • Use KPIs daily to track overall system productivity, and individual productivity for all Warehouse activity: picking, shipping, receiving, cycle counting, value added services, returns, bulk orders, and capacity utilization
  • Monitor levels of consumables to prevent production delays
  • Tackle complex problems that affect customers and work to resolve them with innovative solutions
  • Direct, coordinate, and evaluate site operations functions, including full accountability for setting and achieving departmental goals, strategic planning, analysis and forecasting.
  • Create a positive work environment that recognizes, rewards, and promotes individuals and teams for their work ethic, can-do attitude, customer focus, and achievements focused on meeting KPIs.
  • Support/lead a rhythm of well-run daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly employee meetings.
  • Support/lead initiatives to ensure a clean, organized, safe, and secure work environment. Every item and supply should have a designated location, work spaces should be standardized and labeled, and your team should take pride in a professional work space.
  • Define and document new processes, and memorialize existing-yet-unwritten processes. Create standard operating procedures, and associated training resources, that prepare the company for rapid growth.
  • Analyze, evaluate and make strategic decisions and recommendations to improve, develop and execute on smart, scalable changes, and build a structure of iteration on processes that enable continuous improvement. Build and implement short, mid, and long-term improvement roadmaps and hold yourself and team accountable to them.

The Successful Applicant

  • Multi-year experience with Manhattan Associates, RedPrairie or equivalent WMS platforms
  • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years Warehouse Operations in B2C 3PL or eCommerce experience
  • Flexibility to work weekends and/or overnight shifts
  • Experience with a contingent workforce during peak seasons
  • Strong people management experience, excellent oral and written communication skills and experience working with customers internally and externally.
  • Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office required, especially MS Excel, or Google equivalent.
  • Strong technical competency that enables you to quickly learn unfamiliar software and systems, effectively analyze data
