Job Description

  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories
  • Project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products and customers
  • Performs sales activities on all accounts and negotiate sales prices and discounts in consultation with the Head of Global Sales
  • Analyze sales figures and forecast sales targets
  • Develop sales strategies to gain and/or improve market share
  • Determine and control budgets and expenses
  • Analyze trends and results of the regions and feedback to HQ
  • Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans
  • Maintain and/or enhance sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping track with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
  • Complete national sales operational requirement by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results
  • Recruiting, selecting, orienting and training national sales staff
  • Maintain national sales staff job results by counseling and coaching employees' planning, monitoring, and appraising job result
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

The Successful Applicant

  • University degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience in a wholesale organization
  • Extensive work related market knowledge in the wholesale sector
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead a sales team as well as being cost conscious
  • Excellent and proven track record in developing sales strategies
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Driver's license
  • Travel is required
