The time that temporary work was for junior employees with few skills is long gone. Research from Michael Page shows that a large percentage of hiring managers are seeking specialists in Finance & Accounting, Marketing, and Property & Construction.
This is indicative of a clear shift from generalist to specialist. It is, therefore, no surprise that 75% of the temporary employees surveyed have at least a bachelor degree.
