My client is a market leader in qualitative data analysis SaaS. They are a global 150 employee organization and being utilized by 90% of the organizations within their target market. They boast a lot of inbound business and are actively looking to hire four business development reps. This is a 100% remote based opportunity with a highly competitive salary.

Job Description

You Will:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships to achieve business objectives, both externally with prospects, and internally with the Software Development, Administration, Training and Marketing teams.
  • Implement and manage a variety of outbound business development activities to ensure the development and progression of accounts including but not limited to daily phone and video calls, weekly webinars, demonstrations, and the implementation of customer road shows to promote their products and services.
  • Attend local and national conferences and exhibitions as required and safety permitting.
  • Provide market intelligence and user feedback to the Marketing and Software Development teams.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and/or territory reports as specified by your manager. This includes but is not limited to maintenance of the contact management database (Salesforce), and utilization of well-defined company templates for orders and sales contracts.
  • Achieve sales revenue target by managing, maintaining and developing strong relationships at all levels within with existing and targeted accounts to ensure their needs are met. This includes the responsibility for renewals and upselling within your key account list.
  • Work with Commercial Product Managers to develop a list of advocate accounts for use in broader Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies implemented by the company.

The Successful Applicant

You Have:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in a business or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of prior Software Sales experience in the education space.
  • Ability to generate new business through direct calling, presentations, webinars, and trade show attendance.
  • Strong presentation, organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to understand complex customer requirements and present solutions answering those requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute on a sales strategy, being a team player with motivation and shared knowledge.
  • Demonstrated target achievement in the recent past.
  • Experience and professional network of industry candidates preferred.
  • Proven sales skills with formal sales training preferred.
  • Proven ability to generate sales opportunities, build relationships, close sales and grow accounts.
  • Ability to learn software quickly and confidently demonstrate it to prospect.
  • Strong business acumen and decision-making ability.
