Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate with customers to meet sales volume and pricing goals, consistently achieving sales and margin growth targets.
  • Build and improve relationships with customers to generate profitable sales and increase long-term sales volume.
  • Actively seek out and close new business while expanding sales with existing accounts.
  • Identify pricing trends and competitive activity to maintain an advantage in the market.
  • Submit accurate and timely reports on all customer interactions and activities.

The Successful Applicant

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, chemistry or other hard science; advanced degree or MBA a plus.
  • MUST HAVE 2-4 year of sales experience in chemical, commodity, or building materials (glass) sales.
  • Experience with outside sales and managing key accounts.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Oracle.
  • Candidates MUST reside in the United States
