Accountant

• Prepare and post journal entries, including allocations and accruals.
• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate classification and recording of transactions.
• Review and analyze general ledger activity and complete balance sheet reconciliations, including prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accounts receivable, and accrued expenses.
• Process intercompany transactions and perform related reconciliations.
• Manage fixed asset schedules and calculate depreciation.
• Reconcile corporate credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
• Prepare and file multi‑state sales tax returns.
• Analyze expense accounts and support the monthly close process.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen internal controls, and accelerate the close cycle.
• Assist with external audits and contribute to ad hoc projects as needed.
