Job Description

  • Assist in month‑end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Assist in preparing schedules supporting balance sheet and P&L accounts
  • Ensure all transactions are recorded in compliance with applicable accounting standards
  • Perform account reconciliations and investigate variances
  • Support oversight of general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions
  • Review journal entries for accuracy and proper documentation
  • Assist in maintaining and improving accounting procedures and systems
  • Support external, including annual financial audits, tax audits, and lender‑required audits
  • Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness
  • Assist in developing, documenting, and maintaining internal controls
  • Assist the Finance team with day‑to‑day accounting activities, including:
    • Reviewing and approving invoices prior to entry into the general ledger, ensuring correct posting period, GL account, and departmental coding (e.g. document management tools like Parseave)
    • Assisting with coding and reconciliation of vendor invoices (e.g. FedEx and other vendors)
    • Cross‑training in accounts payable functions to provide backup support
  • Monitor licensing revenue invoicing and collections, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Perform monthly reporting and analysis in Concur, including review of GL accounts and related journal entries
  • Assist with ad hoc and special projects as needed
