Accounting & Finance Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the month-end close, general ledger maintenance, revenue accounting, AP/AR, and fixed asset accounting, as well as any associated reporting and analysis duties
  • Manage the financial activities within accounting, including budget, tax, insurance, credit, and treasury
  • Ensure all financial operations and internal procedures are in compliance with government rules and regulations
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliant financial reporting standards are produced
  • Oversee the budgeting and forecasting process to produce effective budgets
  • Assist in the improvement of accounting and finance processes within the organization
  • Provide financial modeling analysis on company ventures and capital projects
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure audit compliance
  • Oversee a team of four

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of experience in Accounting
  • 2+ years of management experience preferred
  • Manufacturing background preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting
  • Experience with Hyperion or Sage Intacct a plus
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
