Job Description

  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze corporate financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards. Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.

  2. General Ledger Management: Oversee general ledger activities, reconciliations, and journal entries. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

  3. Financial Process Oversight: Implement and enhance financial processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Continuously evaluate and improve internal controls.

  4. Assist in Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with the Controller in the budgeting and forecasting processes. Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.

  5. Audit Preparation: Facilitate audits by providing necessary documentation, liaising with auditors, and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably within the biotechnology or healthcare industry.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
