As the Accounting Manager, you will be a key player in driving the dynamic team in the company's growth phase they are experiencing right now. In addition, you will be responsible for the month-end close process and any ad hoc reports for the Senior Leaders and stakeholders.Job Description Accounting Manager Responsibilities:Take ownership of the Month-End Close process, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities to consistently meet service level agreements (SLAs).Lead and enhance the Fee-for-Service revenue reporting package, including waterfall analysis, accounts receivable valuation, and segmentation by key dimensions (e.g., payor, business line).Partner with the RCM team to develop strategies for payor reimbursement and self-pay collections.Prepare financial reporting packages, including financial statements and custom reports for stakeholders.Provide technical accounting guidance, with a focus on ASC 606, ASC 842, and ASC 810.Support the company's annual Financial Statement Audit and Tax Return Filings.Serve as a leader and strategic advisor on ERP systems and other related platform design, usage, and optimization.Work closely with the strategic finance team to develop regular budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans.Ensure compliance with state and local regulatory filing requirements.Drive adherence to financial policies and procedures.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
