This individual will partner with global senior leadership to understand where the company's needs are from a strategic business standpoint on the Accounting side, own the books, and manage the accounting processes for the company!Job DescriptionAccounting Manager Responsibilities:Manage the global monthly close process to ensure all accounting entries are completed on a timely and accurate basisConduct quarterly close process for multi-entity accounts, including balance sheets and income statementsPrepare the monthly financial reporting packageAssist in the annual audit for both domestic and international audits, consolidating into US guidelinesLead the reconciliation of balance sheet accountsCollaborate with the Controller to review key finance aspectsOversee team development of operational and technical accounting knowledgeImplement accounting guidelines and proceduresMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
