Accounting Manager - Manufacturing - Burbank, IL

Accounting Manager Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
• Manage and maintain detailed cost accounting systems, including performing cost variance analyses.
• Play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.
• Handle cost accounting responsibilities, including inventory account reconciliations.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and the company's internal accounting standards.
• Support both internal and external audit processes by preparing necessary documentation and assistance.
• Develop and enforce internal controls to protect organizational assets.
• Evaluate production and operational metrics to provide insights for management decision-making.
• Work closely with operations and supply chain teams to identify business drivers and enhance financial outcomes.
• Assist in supervising the accounting team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting.
