As the organization continues to expand, they are looking to add an Accounting Manager to their team.Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, this individual will be responsible for supporting the accounting and reporting functions across multiple entities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation activities. This is a highly collaborative role that partners closely with various teams across the organization and offers broad exposure to the business.Job DescriptionOversee maintenance of accurate general ledger records and manage the month-end close process across multiple corporate and holding entitiesDrive the consolidation process for a group of subsidiaries and affiliated business unitsPrepare and deliver financial reporting packages for both internal leadership and external stakeholders, including lenders, auditors, and other partnersWork closely with the VP of Finance to support ongoing enhancements to accounting policies, controls, and internal processesProvide leadership and daily direction to a small accounting team while collaborating cross-functionally with employees at all levels of the organizationPartner with tax and treasury functions to ensure financial records are maintained in accordance with GAAP and support compliance requirementsCompile and review recurring financial reporting on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, including both standalone and consolidated statements and supporting schedulesPerform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy across all accountsIdentify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and overall accounting processesSupport various ad hoc analyses, projects, and management requests as neededMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
