Accounting Manager | Wholesale | Itasca, IL

• Oversee monthly close process and analysis to develop process improvements and procedures
• Perform the reconciliation of inventory and vendor payments on a monthly basis
• Collaborate with other departments on inventory control and transaction analysis
• Support internal and external audit teams on financial controls and records
• Assure the timely completion of control reports for ledger balances/transactions
• Enhance system improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the department
• Review monthly, quarterly, and annual sales tax returns
• Invest in the training, development, and management of staff
• Complete ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed
• Additional duties as assigned
