Accounting Manager

• Overseeing the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring that all major projects, month-end, quarterly and year-end reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintaining accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP and coordinating activities of external audits.
• Managing regulatory reporting, including local, state and federal tax and compliance.
• Preparing annual budget, forecasts, and other cash flow projections.
• Analyzing financial data and creating reports for staff, management, owners, and external parties, such as customers, vendors, or lenders.
• Evaluating, developing, and improving department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency.
• Supporting other departments as they make decisions that could have a financial impact on the business, as needed.
• Recruiting, hiring, and training new staff
