My client is looking to add an Accounting Manager to their team in order to continue the company's exciting acquisitive and organic growth! Sitting as one of the leaders on the team, this individual will be overseeing the accounting functions, have high visibility to the C-Suite with unlimited progression in their career, and supporting the company in its accounting initiatives within their fast-paced entrepreneurial organization.

About Our Client

I am currently partnered with the CFO at an exciting and growing PE-backed, multi-million dollar healthcare services organization located near Geneva, IL. They have been growing like crazy due to acquisitive and organic growth and are looking to add an Accounting Manager to their team to oversee the accounting functions for the organization.

Job Description

  • Manage a team of 4+ individuals
  • Manage the day-to-day accounting functions including general ledger, sales tax reporting, billing, AP/AR, and financial reporting
  • Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and related budget reporting analysis
  • Assist with the purchase accounting process for newly acquired companies, creating reporting processes and deliverables
  • Collaborate with external audit team to oversee the financial audit and review company performance
  • Develop internal control procedures and policies
  • Manage the financial status of the organization by interpreting and reporting on company financial data
  • Conduct ad-hoc projects as needed

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA required
  • 6+ years of experience in Accounting
  • 2+ years of experience as a Manager
  • PE experience a plus
  • NetSuite experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong excel skills
