Job Description

  • The Accounting Manager will oversee the preparation and review of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Manage and optimize accounting processes, including reporting.
  • Lead the month-end and year-end close processes with precision and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial laws and regulations in the Energy & Natural Resources industry.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support financial decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the accounting team, fostering professional growth.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
  • Have an opportunity to take on international accounting operations as they expand.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
  • This is an in office role based in Beverly Hills, CA.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounting Manager should have:

  • A strong educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related field a CPA, MBA, or Masters of Accounting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.
  • Experience in oil and gas, consumer goods, or industrial goods distribution is preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team in the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • This is an in office role based in Beverly Hills, CA.
