As they continue to grow, we are seeking a Remote Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations and accounting processes for our fast-paced business.Job DescriptionOversee the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Manage financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with company goals.Ensure compliance with GAAP, industry regulations, and internal policies.Supervise and mentor a small team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Analyze and reconcile financial discrepancies, providing insights for improvement.Manage cost of goods sold (COGS) accounting, inventory valuation, and related reporting.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data related to production, marketing, and sales.Prepare for and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate submission of required documents.Assist in the preparation of tax filings and other regulatory reports.Provide ad hoc financial analyses and reports to support strategic decision-making.Lead process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and effectiveness.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
