Job Description
The Acquisitions Analyst will have the following responsibilities:
- Source and screen prospective acquisition markets and assets based on the company's investment criteria
- Perform market research and develop market analysis summaries for potential acquisitions opportunities
- Develop financial models and perform detailed financial analysis of acquisition targets, including analysis of historical financial statements and preparation of cash flow projections, to assess investor risk and return
- Prepare comprehensive investment memoranda supporting the acquisitions team's investment recommendations to the firm's investment committee
- Support acquisition due diligence and closing process
- Perform analysis to support on-going asset management activities, such as repositioning, refinancing, and disposition
- Participate in various forms of investor correspondence

The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate for the Acquisitions Analyst will have:
- BS in real estate, finance or accounting required
- 1+ years of experience as a financial analyst for a real estate investment firm, investment bank, or other similar professional exposure
- Proficient in financial modeling tools, including excellent Excel skills
- Exceptional analytical skills and written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage and distill insightful conclusions from large volumes of data
- Ability to be organized and detail-oriented and to work efficiently and accurately under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision

- Competitive base salary ranging between $70,000-80,000 based on experience
