Job Description

    • Support the Project Manager in all aspects of construction operations.
    • Prepare, submit, and distribute RFIs (Requests for Information) as needed.
    • Review and comprehend subcontract agreements relevant to assigned responsibilities.
    • Inform management of critical project developments, including successes, challenges, injuries, client interactions, and potential claims or losses.
    • Collaborate with the owner/client to provide progress updates, secure approvals, and finalize change orders for scope modifications.
    • Assist in documenting project changes, maintaining accurate records, redline updates, and correspondence.
    • Ensure all work adheres to OSHA regulations and safety standards.
    • Track project expenses to maintain alignment with the established budget.

The Successful Applicant

    • 1+ years of experience working in multifamily, commercial, health care, K-12/Higher ED, industrial, multifamily or retail construction
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
    • Manage administrative construction duties, including document control
    • Prepare submittal schedules for approval and distribution
    • Assist the Superintendent with RFI reports, QA/QC documentation, and construction field operations
    • Assist with preconstruction tasks, including estimating and quantification
    • Collect and log closeout documents and punch lists
