Analyst - Real Estate Investments

Reporting to the Director of Asset Management, the Analyst, Asset Management will provide analytical, operational, and financial support to ensure that all business plans are successful. The Analyst, Asset Management will underwrite and value real estate by building property level financial models and performing DCF and/or direct capitalization analysis.Other Responsibilities will include but no be limited to:

• Review and analyze business plans, loan documents, lease approvals, construction draws, leasing activity and monthly property operating performance
• Working in a collaborative fashion with in house property managers, lease administrators, leasing agents, legal counsel, auditors and accountants.
• Prepare reports for lenders, institutional partners, and the Investment Committee
• Develop and distribute periodic asset management reports to investors, consultants and other partners
• Negotiate third party contracts.
• Participate in the annual budget process.
• Analyze weekly and monthly operating reports from property managers
• Understand different financial evaluation methods related to valuation and performance of real estate (such as IRRs, NPVs, WACCs, etc.)
• Analyze market and submarket comps and track against portfolio performance
• Manage asset management files and records
• Work with Acquisitions team to develop asset business plans
• Ensure adherence to policies and procedures to maintain effective internal controls
