They have a strong track record of delivering excellent results for their investors.Job DescriptionReporting to the Director of Asset Management, the Analyst, Asset Management will provide analytical, operational, and financial support to ensure that all business plans are successful. The Analyst, Asset Management will underwrite and value real estate by building property level financial models and performing DCF and/or direct capitalization analysis.Other Responsibilities will include but no be limited to:Review and analyze business plans, loan documents, lease approvals, construction draws, leasing activity and monthly property operating performanceWorking in a collaborative fashion with in house property managers, lease administrators, leasing agents, legal counsel, auditors and accountants.Prepare reports for lenders, institutional partners, and the Investment CommitteeDevelop and distribute periodic asset management reports to investors, consultants and other partnersNegotiate third party contracts.Participate in the annual budget process.Analyze weekly and monthly operating reports from property managersUnderstand different financial evaluation methods related to valuation and performance of real estate (such as IRRs, NPVs, WACCs, etc.)Analyze market and submarket comps and track against portfolio performanceManage asset management files and recordsWork with Acquisitions team to develop asset business plansEnsure adherence to policies and procedures to maintain effective internal controlsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
