AR Specialist

This role is responsible for managing incoming payments, invoicing customers, and ensuring accurate and timely posting of transactions. This role also monitors aging accounts, resolves payment discrepancies, and supports month-end close and reporting processes.

Job Description



  • Generate and send customer invoices accurately and on time


  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts


  • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing discrepancies


  • Process customer payments, including checks, ACH, and credit card transactions


  • Support month-end close with AR reporting and account reconciliations


  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams on billing and collections issues


  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for auditing purposes

The Successful Applicant



  • 2+ years of AR experience, preferably in retail or a high-volume environment


  • Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, and payment processing


  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel


  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills


  • Strong communication and customer service skills


  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines


  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
