About Our Client

Our client is a well-known Multinational Organization making an impact across various industries. This position will focus on the Life Sciences industry, providing solutions for Medical or Surgical devices with an emphasis on seals, plastic and composite components for the the said products.

Job Description

  • The District Sales Manager is responsible for the business development of Seals, Plastic and Composite products lines related to the Life Sciences Market.
  • This includes Medical or Surgical devices, but also Analytic instruments and Pharmaceutical equipment manufacturers.
  • You will drive new opportunities through developing relationships with Key customers locally and nationally.
  • You will identify and realize new application opportunities for existing and developmental products.
  • You will be given the freedom to articulate the customers' needs with the business' teams (engineers, customer service) to develop your own strategy and partnership models, to negotiate contracts, to collaborate with your customers, to expand the product portfolio, to make an impact with your unique and innovative approach.
  • You will be part of a talented North America sales and marketing team, who will support your integration and be complementary of your mission.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical discipline
  • 3 years' experience in B2B sales experience, with focus on technical sales of components.
  • Must read blueprints and be able to interface with engineers on technical aspects of application.
  • Proven relationship building skills and commercial awareness, to understand the customer's business needs and identify plans to deliver them.
  • Must have the ability to travel up to 50% (mostly regional travel to key accounts).
  • Overseas meetings are approximately twice per year.
