Job Description

This newly created position will establish and lead the in-house Asset Management function for a growing portfolio of industrial properties across the region. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Manager/Senior Manager will be responsible for driving portfolio performance, implementing best practices, and serving as a key liaison between development, acquisitions, finance, and operations/property management. This will be an Asset Manager or Senior Asset Manager title depending on experience.

  • Portfolio Oversight: Monitor financial and operational performance of industrial assets; ensure alignment with investment objectives.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare budgets, forecasts, variance analyses, and quarterly reporting for leadership and investors.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop asset-level business plans, including lease-up strategies, capital projects, and disposition recommendations.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with development, construction, and property management teams to optimize asset performance.
  • Risk Management: Identify operational and financial risks; implement mitigation strategies.
  • Process Development: Build internal systems and workflows for asset management, including reporting templates and KPIs.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CFA, CPM) a plus.
  • 5-8 years of experience in asset management within industrial real estate or commercial property sectors.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; proficiency in Excel and real estate software (e.g., Argus, Yardi).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to create structure in a new function.
