Job Description

  • Manage a portfolio of affordable housing assets
  • Oversee LIHTC and Section 8 property performance
  • Support NYCHA PACT, preservation, and redevelopment projects
  • Monitor budgets, financials, occupancy, and reporting
  • Partner with property management, compliance, development, and construction teams
  • Ensure affordable housing compliance requirements are met
  • Drive lease-up, stabilization, and long-term asset performance
  • Identify and resolve operational, financial, and compliance-related issues

The Successful Applicant

A successful Asset Manager/Property Manager should have:

  • Must have affordable housing experience
  • LIHTC and/or Section 8 experience is essential
  • Experience with preservation, redevelopment, or occupied affordable housing assets preferred
  • NYCHA PACT experience is a strong plus
  • Strong understanding of affordable housing compliance and property operations
  • Ability to review budgets, financials, occupancy, and asset performance
  • Comfortable working with property management, compliance, development, and ownership teams
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
