I am working with two fast-growing real estate firms, both leaders in the affordable housing sector. These businesses manage projects up to $400 million, including ground-up developments and tenant-in-place redevelopments, with portfolios across the Tri-State area and nationally. Known for their integrity-driven leadership, they invest heavily in their teams, providing high levels of coaching, clear paths for advancement, and a collaborative, positive work environment.

Job Description

These roles will involve both portfolio and asset management, overseeing existing assets and engaging in pre-development and development stages. The goal is to ensure each building operates efficiently - both financially and sustainably - while creating positive living experiences for residents. Both firms are passionate about improving lives and committed to maintaining high standards.

Ideal candidates will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and accustomed to working to high standards. Experience in LIHTC and ground-up affordable housing development is essential. With the intent to hire future leaders, these firms welcome candidates from early career stages (1 year of experience) to Director level, which is reflected in a broad salary range.

The Successful Applicant

  • 1 - 20 years of asset, portfolio, or property management experience.
  • Relevant degree or qualification in architecture, real estate, financial services, urban planning, accounting, or construction management.
  • Will be passionate about and possess experience working in the affordable housing space either locally or nationally.
  • A driven, organised, personable, approachable personality, looking for a long-term move.
