Job Description

  • Manage a portfolio of affordable housing assets across LIHTC, Section 8, preservation, and redevelopment projects
  • Oversee budgets, financials, occupancy, cash flow, reporting, and overall asset performance
  • Drive long-term asset strategy, operational improvements, and portfolio planning
  • Partner with property management, compliance, development, construction, and ownership teams
  • Support lease-up, stabilization, preservation, and redevelopment initiatives
  • Ensure affordable housing compliance requirements are met across the portfolio
  • Identify and resolve operational, financial, and compliance-related issues
  • Prepare portfolio updates, asset reviews, and recommendations for senior leadership

The Successful Applicant

A successful Asset/Portfolio Manager should have:

  • Must have affordable housing experience
  • LIHTC and/or Section 8 experience is required
  • Senior asset management, portfolio management, or real estate operations experience
  • Strong understanding of affordable housing compliance and property operations
  • Experience with preservation, redevelopment, lease-up, or occupied affordable housing assets preferred
  • Ability to review budgets, financials, occupancy, cash flow, and asset performance
  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
