This candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of $50M Providence Train Station project You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals, collaborating closely with Lead super, project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure the timely completion of projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship.Job DescriptionThe Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for:Leading, supervising, and coordinating all construction activities on assigned projects, including scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety complianceProviding hands-on supervision and guidance to subcontractors, ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with project plans, specifications, and industry standardsImplementing and enforcing rigorous safety protocols and practices, fostering a culture of safety consciousness among the project teamCollaborating closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication, coordination, and problem-solvingMonitoring project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and take proactive measures to mitigate themConducting regular site inspections and quality control assessments to maintain the highest standards of workmanshipMaintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and change ordersManaging and resolving any on-site issues or conflicts that may arise during the course of constructionStaying updated on industry trends, best practices, and new technologies, incorporating them into project planning and execution when applicableMaintaining the cleanliness of the site as this is an occupied and operational transportation stationMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
